Mia recently competed in the state level competition for turbo Javelin and long jump, with 150 competitors. In the turbo javelin, Mia achieved 3rd place and in the long jump she achieved 7th. To achieve this result Mia jumped a personal best of 3.51cm!
She was so happy she cried.
In her own club district of Melville, Mia got Champion Girl for her club, Brentwood, and received a gold medal in both long jump and turbo javelin.
